S4 wire has all of the advantages of S2, with slightly higher levels of manganese and silicon. It has higher "cleaning" levels, and produces a more fluid weld puddle and flatter bead profile. Our high purity fillers have sensational flow characteristics and produce exceptional welds that are free of cracks, Fusion defects and other problems which inferior wires are prone to. Each rod is individually stamped or laser engraved with its grade identification marking. Beware of cheap, inferior product which is non identifiable once removed from its packet. All our TIG wire is individually packed, labeled, and is transported in a sturdy tube or box which ensures your wire stays in great condition during transport.
